Description
The cross in the churchyard of the Church of St John the Baptist is a Grade II listed structure. It features a cross shaft on a stepped base, dating from the 14th century, with a 20th-century cross at the top. The base has a square plan and consists of a stepped pyramidal plinth with four steps. The cross base is adorned with ogee stops at the upper corners. The tall octagonal cross shaft culminates in a Maltese cross at its apex.
