Description
The cider house, located approximately 4 metres north-west of Cromer Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features timber-framing, though much of it has been replaced by brick, and has a slate roof. The building is one storey with an attic. The south-east wall has three doorways with segmental arched heads. To the right of the left-hand doorway, there is a similar doorway for the upper storey, which is accessed by external steps. The attic is lit by two dormers. The left side of the facade is mostly covered by lean-to additions, but some exposed framing is visible. An exposed cruck truss can be seen in the right-hand gable wall, with the blades terminating at a collar. Inside, the cider house contains a cider mill and three trusses with curved principals.
