Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to Elizabeth Parker, the daughter of Charles Parker, located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary, approximately 2.5 metres east of the east end of the chancel. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a rectangular inscription plaque on both sides, framed by raised fluted margins. There are fielded marginal panels at either end, adorned with fluted decoration at the top. The tomb is capped with a moulded margin.
