Description

The Parker Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 15 meters north of the north-east buttress of the tower of the Church of St. Thomas. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a low relief oval side plaque, which is flanked by drapery drops and decorated with plant motifs at the angle piers. It has a moulded base and cornice, along with a pulvinated frieze.
