Description

The gatepiers at the east entry to the churchyard of the Church of St. Thomas date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed from ashlar stone and feature channelled rustication. The gatepiers have raised gate-stops with scroll terminals and concave curved caps topped with ball finials. The gates themselves are made of wood and were added in the 20th century.
