Description

The Parker monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 metres north of the nave of the Church of St James the Great. It dates from the 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and a moulded base, along with plain quarter balusters. There are inscription panels on all sides, with paired panels on the north and south sides, commemorating Isaac Parker, who died in 1794, and other family members.
