Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and a 20th-century porch. It is constructed of rubble, with a roughcast finish, and has a double Roman tiled roof with a gable stack on the right side. The house is two stories high and has two windows on each floor. The ground floor has two two-light casement windows of varying sizes, and a central gabled wooden porch. The first floor contains two three-light wooden casement windows with ovolo mullions. Two steep gables rise to just below the ridge line, with a buttress on the left side. A blank return wall is visible to the right, where the cottage adjoins Oak House. The rear of the building features all 20th-century windows, along with a single-story lean-to on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
