Description

The Parker tomb, located 5 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of St Mary, is a table tomb dating from 1691. It features a raised stone slab supported by square legs with caps. The slab is moulded in the shape of an arch, adorned with angels in the spandrels. An inscription on the tomb commemorates the death of Henry Parker of Wheatley and his grandson, also named Henry Parker, who died in 1760.
