Description
This gateway, located approximately 60 meters southeast of Waterlane House, was built around 1908 by the architect Ernest Gimson for F.F. McMeekan. It features ashlar piers and coursed dry rubble walls, along with wrought-iron gates. The square piers have plain moulded caps and ball finials. The curved flanking walls end with piers that have weathered capping and smaller ball finials. The iron gates include decorative scrollwork, which may have been crafted by Alfred Bucknell.
