Detached farmhouse. C17; late C18 addition. Timber-framed; partially rebuilt in brick; lias wing; clay plain tile and stone slate roof. 3-room lobby entry; 2-storey; 2-storey wing at right angles to form L-plan. North front: small framing on lias plinth; plank door with timber casement to right; fenestration otherwise scattered; limestone ridge chimney with moulded cap. Wing projects to right of front with scattered fenestration and plank door, all with segmental arched heads; north gable end patched in brick with ridge gable end chimney stack. East gable end is small-framed on lias plinth with single-window fenestration; single-storey outbuilding running to left is timber-framed on this side. South elevation has been partly refaced in brick; small-paned casement with segmental arched head, and C20 glazed doors to left; remaining part to right is small-framed on lias plinth. Brick west gable end with upper floor off-centre casement; ridge chimney stack; lower attached former stable has loft door in west end gable. Internally, large central chimney stack constructed in limestone. Ground floor of north wing formerly cider cellar.
