Description
This barn, located approximately 40 meters east of Sydenhams Farmhouse, dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and features a stone slate roof. The barn has five bays and includes an east porch and an outshut. On the east side, there are central plank barn doors with a timber lintel. The porch has a hipped roof and a doorway with plank doors and a timber lintel. To the left, there is a lean-to outshut with weatherboarding above the plank doors at the south end. The south gable end has a loft opening with a timber lintel and a plank door. Inside, the barn has a five-bay collar and tie-beam truss roof. This barn is part of a group with Sydenhams Farmhouse.
