Description
Slimbridge Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick, featuring a plain string course above the ground floor voussoirs that returns to the gables. The building has a stone slate roof and includes a main block with two gabled projections at the rear, between which the rear slope descends in a catslide. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-windowed façade, showcasing three-light casements with flat segmental heads, all set under attractive brick voussoir arches. The first-floor window heads are positioned about ten brick courses below the eaves. The back gables feature large louvred openings that lead to the attic cheese loft. Centrally located at the main front is a six-panel door with a 20th-century porch.
