Description
This small detached house, located approximately 5 meters north of Barton End House, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone, with a chimney rebuilt in concrete block, and features a stone slate roof. The house is two stories tall with an attic and has an outshut at the west end. The front has three windows with segmental arches, fitted with 20th-century metal casements. To the left, there is a doorway and a casement in a lean-to, with the doorway featuring a timber lintel and a plank door. At the east end, there is a conservatory porch leading to the doorway. The gable ends are half hipped. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
