Description
This small detached house, dating from the early to mid-18th century, is located approximately 15 meters north of and opposite numbers 1 to 9 Arlington Row in Bibury. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and features a rubble chimney and a stone slate roof. The house is two stories tall and has a rear outshut.
The front of the house has a long timber lintel over a 20th-century casement window and a plank door to the right. Above, there is a similar 20th-century casement window. A chimney is situated at the west gable end, and there is a hipped lean-to addition that includes a very small 20th-century casement window with a timber lintel. The rear outshut has a catslide roof with very low eaves. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a group with numbers 1 to 9 Arlington Row.
