Description

Comely Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse situated in Ham and Stone Clapton. The building is constructed of rubble stone, with some brick to the rear, and has a slate roof. Brick stacks are present. It is a single-range structure with a rear outshut, following a lobby-entry plan on the right end, and features two storeys and attic gables. The front facade has three widely spaced, three-light wood casement windows beneath wooden lintels. On the ground floor, two windows are positioned to the right, with a 19th-century gabled open timberwork porch containing a four-panel door positioned between them. To the left of the main facade is a small extension with a lean-to porch.
