Description

Pedington Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-17th century, with an early to mid-18th century wing on the left that forms an L-shape. The building is faced with rubble stone and roughcast, featuring a concrete tile roof on the main range and a hipped slate roof on the wing, with stone slate at the back. The farmhouse has rendered stacks with large decorative flues. The older range consists of two storeys and an attic, with two prominent front gables. The fenestration is scattered, primarily consisting of small wood mullion casements with two, three, and four lights on the left side, while the right side has larger wood mullion windows with transoms. The central entrance features a doorcase with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets, leading to a six-panel door with fielded panels. At the rear, there is a small projecting gable and an additional two-storey wing added later on the left. The 18th-century wing is two storeys high, with a parapet wall, a moulded stone cornice, a stone platband, and alternating chamfered quoins. It has two 12-pane sash windows with plain stone architraves and keystones that connect to either the platband or cornice. The ground floor window on the right has been lengthened to accommodate wooden doors for outside access. Some windows at the rear and side of the main range feature leading. The interior is not accessible.
