Description

This is a late 18th-century former mill, now converted into a private house. The building is constructed of brick on a stone plinth, with a double Roman tile roof and no chimney stacks. It is a single range of three storeys, with five windows. The windows have cambered brick arches and contain 20th-century three-light casements, with a full-length window on the first floor including a central casement and a door in the centre bay, accessed by a concrete staircase. The ground floor windows are blocked, except for the bay to the left, which has a 20th-century doorcase with a flat wooden hood supported by one original and one replacement bracket, and a 20th-century door. The rear facade is very similar. A cobbled forecourt is situated at the front of the building.
