10/73 Unidentified monument, about 3m from bay 2 of nave from east on south side in churchyard of Church of St. Mary the Virgin. GV II

Chest tomb. Late C17. Limestone. Flat top, moulded plinth, heavy moulded capping. Flattened lyre ends with open book and crown motif. Sides divided into central inscription panel (2 on north) with flanking relief design of flaming torches, and acanthus on scrolls to north. Top has large eroded hollow and south east corner missing.
