Description

This is an unidentified altar tomb from the early 19th century, located about 7 meters southeast of the south door in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a central raised elongated pyramidal section. The corners are indented, and it has a moulded plinth and capping. The ends of the tomb are shaped like lyre ends, with a coat of arms on the west side and a plain surface on the east side. The sides have large panels that were originally surrounded by low relief, but this detail is almost completely eroded.
