Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 8 meters south-west of the north-east gate in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded plinth and cyma recta moulded capping. It has heavy scrolled lyre ends that include a carved device with a festoon, which is almost obliterated on the eastern side. The long sides of the tomb have three rectangular panels, all elaborately carved in high relief, with a central cartouche on the north side. The inscriptions on the tomb have been obliterated.
