Description

Gates and gateway located approximately 15 meters to the west of the Church of St John the Baptist, built in 1819 with the gates likely added around 1870. The structure is made of ashlar limestone and features cast iron gates. It has square gate piers topped with hollow moulding and weathered coping. The convex flanking walls have plain coping and are finished with piers that also have weathered coping. The heavy decorative iron gates align with the west door of the church.
