Description

The boundary wall with two gateways, located to the west of the Church of St John the Baptist, was built around 1855, likely designed by G.F. Bodley. It is constructed from ashlar limestone and features wrought iron gates. The wall is plain with a weathered top coping and has stepped sections. The larger gateway to the southwest of the church includes gabled pier tops with an inset cross and an iron frame for a lamp, which is now missing, along with double railed gates. The smaller gateway to the northwest of the church has octagonal topped piers and a railed gate.
