Description

The Green Dragon is a mid-19th century dwelling, formerly an inn. It is constructed of painted rubble with a concrete tile roof and has a parallel range with twin gables facing the street. The two-storey building has a two-by-two window arrangement. The left gabled end features four sash windows with glazing bars, and a basement opening, formerly providing access to a cellar. The right gable has two sash windows without glazing bars, alongside a large garage and a panelled door. It is the only building of significant architectural merit remaining on this side of Ludgate Hill.
