Description

This is an early 19th century cottage, likely linked to the local textile industry. It is one of three cottages built in a terrace, stepping down a slope; the other two have been altered and are not of particular architectural interest. The cottage is constructed from roughly-laid, dressed limestone, with a slate roof and a brick chimney towards the rear. It has a single room depth and three storeys, each with one double-hung sash window with glazing bars. The ground floor entrance door has six fielded panels.
