Description

The chapel at Hugh Perry Almshouses, originally listed as the chapel in the almshouses courtyard, dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from rubble with a stone slate roof and stands as a free-standing two-bay single space building within the courtyard of the almshouses. The entrance is located on the long west side. The chapel features two-light cusped stone windows with semi-circular hearts, along with two smaller similar windows positioned in the upper levels of the gables. All windows are adorned with drips and labels.
