Ridley Mill Cottage

Ridley Mill Cottage is a detached house that likely dates back to the 17th century but has undergone significant alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed and random rubble limestone, with roughcast rendering on the east side, a concrete block rebuilt chimney, and a concrete tile roof. The building is two stories high with an attic and features a single-storey addition on the west side, creating an L-shape.

On the west side, there is a central doorway with a six-panel door, and above it, a canted timber oriel window with a six-pane sash and a hipped lead roof. To the left of the doorway, there is a three-light chamfered mullioned casement. The east side has been most altered in the 20th century, featuring scattered timber casements, including two in gabled roof dormers with a flush rooflight between. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
