Description

This listing describes a pair of gate piers located immediately southwest of The Mount, dating from the mid-17th century. They are made of limestone and are approximately 1 meter tall, featuring tapering monolithic designs. The piers have ogee supports that hold ball finials at the top. The 20th-century gates that are present are not considered to be of special interest.
