Description
The Baptist Chapel, dated 1825, is a building made of coursed and dressed limestone with a Welsh slate roof. It features a main chapel room with a wing on the south side. The front has a parapet gable with kneelers and finials, along with a small single-storey parapet gabled porch that includes round arched casements and a Tudor arched doorway on the south side. The main front has two levels of round arched windows, each with Gothic glazing bars. A datestone is set high on the gable, and similar windows are found on the sides. The south wing has an end gable, with east-facing round arched casements and a six-panel fielded door topped with a stone lintel. The gable end features mixed casements and a doorway. The blank west end is built into the bank. The interior is plain, with a balcony at the east end.
