Description
The monument to John Barrow is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 6 metres south-west of the porch of the Church of St Andrew. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge, quarter balusters, and fielded panels on the north and south sides. The ends are worn, and the base is not visible as it was falling at the time of the survey in September 1983. The inscription for John Barrow is no longer legible. This monument is part of a compact group of six monuments situated near the porch, and it is approximately 2 metres south of the Richard Barrow monument.
