Description
The Barrett tomb is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Andrew, approximately 1 metre east of the Sealy tomb and southeast of the church porch. It dates from around 1780 and is constructed from ashlar stone. The north side features a large oval plaque surrounded by ornamented spandrels, with thickly carved foliate strips on either side and baluster corners. The south side has a rectangular fielded panel. The tomb also includes a moulded base and cornice with a pulvinated frieze. It is situated in row 4, east of the churchyard path.
