Description
Pear Tree Cottage is a former house and stable, now combined into a single dwelling, dating from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof, featuring a central ridge stack and a stack to the right. It comprises a single range with a slight angle where the house and stable originally joined. The cottage has two storeys and an attic, with two windows: 2-light and 3-light casement windows. A recessed boarded door is located on the left, and a 20th-century door is set within a partially blocked stable entrance on the right. A medieval stone mask is set into the wall behind a pear tree located on the left side of the building.
