Description

Lily Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two stone ridge stacks, one to the right of center with a 20th-century brick top and another to the left of center. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a six-bay range. There is a plank door located to the right of center, which is topped by a wooden lintel. The windows are arranged irregularly and consist of casements. The cottage also has three gabled half-dormers, each with three-light casements. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have a chamfered spine beam and joists on the ground floor.
