Description
The Old Post House is a 17th-century house located on the north side of Minster Lovell Main Road. It has undergone some later alterations. The building is constructed of coursed stone rubble and features a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. It is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. The front has a 19th-century wood ribbed door at the center, which is topped by a 20th-century gabled hood. On either side of the door, there are two-light casements with wood lintels. The gables on the left and right have three-light casements, also with wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected. The building is shown on the Ordnance Survey map as Locks Cottage.
