House and shop; C15 (1465 painted on gable), altered C19 and C20; timber-framed gable, white rendered infill; brick first floor front; tiled roof. One window wide, 3 rooms deep, gable to street: 3 storey. Street front, entry on left, to right C20 shop front, door right of centre, under flat timber head. Above 2-light casement window slightly off-centre to right, 6 panes per light, cambered brick-on-edge arch. Slight jetty above, joist ends exposed: short, thick corner posts, curved braces down to main beam. Two-panel high framing between, thin timbers, 2 four-pane casements in centre. Above tie-beam, 3 studs and 2 angle struts below collar, curved V struts above. 1465 painted on infill. Brick chimney on right return. Internally, top beam to ground floor front and top beam to passage wall survive in ceiling, with other beams. Above corner posts and braces to front wall exposed internally; one bay back shaped jowl to main post on left, 2 rolls with scroll above. Side passage originally wider, front jettied on 2 levels.
