11/220 Bellamy monument and headstone in churchyard, about 15m south-south- east of north gate to Bell Lane, Church of St. Peter and St. Paul

Chest tomb and headstone; 1775, 1677; stone. Rectangular chest tomb with short headstone against west end. Chest tomb has markedly weathered top with moulded edge; sides large raised oval panel with paterae in corners; ends elongated rectangular baluster, with fluted 'capital': shield with coat of arms on stem at west end, feature at east end too weathered to identify. Moulded base. Commemorates William Bellamy died 1775, wife 1792, 2 sons 1777 and 1793. Later inscriptions to 1879. Initial inscription well carved, uses long s. Headstone against west end to Samuel Bellamy, died 1677. Steeply cambered top with scrolled ends: raised margin around edge, carved with wavy scroll. Lettering well cut.
