Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 4 meters east of the south porch of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Mitcheldean. It is made of stone and features a widely projecting flat lid with a moulded edge. The long sides have fielded panels, while the ends are framed with consoles that create a lyre shape, complete with a raised rim that forms a vertical oval in the center.
