Description
This building is a shop premises located adjacent to and to the northeast of Wells Farm Cottages, dating from 1646, as indicated by the datestone marked FHA. The structure has been altered, as seen from the straight joint to the right of the center. It is two storeys high, constructed of squared and dressed rubble, and features a tiled roof with coped verges and end chimneys. The facade includes mullion windows arranged in three ranges of three and two lights, each with drips. To the left of the right-hand window, there is a doorway with a cambered head that has been inserted. A projecting gabled porch is situated to the left of center, which has a side-light in its left-hand wall and a chamfered door surround. Additionally, there is a gabled extension at the rear.
