Description
Manor House is a building dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, which was remodelled and extended in the 1930s.
The rear east front features two storeys and attics, constructed from coursed and squared rubble with Cotswold stone roofs. It has mullioned windows with drips and a central Tudor arch doorway, also with a drip. The plan is irregular, incorporating modern extensions.
The garden west front is made of ashlar and has five windows, featuring two and three-light mullion types. There are three gabled dormers and a modern 'eyebrow' dormer, along with ashlar chimneys. On the ground floor to the right, there are two modern French windows styled as mullions, with patterned glazing in the centre lights and moulded surrounds. To the left of centre, there is a Tuscan porch.
There is a long extension to the north-west that masks the stable wing, which is partly dated to the 1730s. This extension has circular windows on the garden side and is two storeys high, divided into three parts, built from rubble to the north. It features a 3:1:3 window arrangement with glazing bar casements and a central gable for a hoist. A small wooden cupola with a weathervane is located to the right of centre.
