Description
The Walnuts is a building dating from the 17th century and early 18th century, which has been altered and modernised. It is divided into three sections and has two storeys, with part of it having attics. The structure features coursed, squared, and dressed stonework, topped with Cotswold stone roofs. There are four ashlar ridge chimneys and two coped verges. The building includes one and two gabled dormers, as well as two, three, and four-light chamfered mullion windows, with two outer windows on the ground floor that have drips (which have been restored). The left section is angled, featuring one window on the first floor and three on the ground floor, with a dormer above the right-hand window. The main central section has two windows, while the right section has one range to the right and a small single light window to the left, positioned above a gabled projecting modern porch that has a Tudor arch doorway.
