Description

A mid-19th century apple store barn stands south of Old Manor Cottages. The barn is constructed of rubble with ashlar piers that originally supported louvred openings, though the roof is now covered in corrugated asbestos. A segment-headed window is located on the north side. The barn comprises six and two bays. The roof structure features collar trusses with roughly chamfered stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, and two rows of purlins. Later extensions that form a square are not part of the listed structure.
