SP 13 NE 1/135 BLOCKLEY NORTHWICK PARK
Stable Block to North-West of Mansion House GV II
Mid C18, perhaps contemporary with the Burlington alterations. Ashlar built with hipped slate roof. Five bays, 2:1:2, the centre set slightly forward with arched door in arched recess, lunette in gable above. Band between ground and first floors, continued as lintel to central door. Plain doors below, 2-light casements above. Two octagonal ventilators on roof. Rear elevation with mullion windows. At one time an Estate slaughter-house.
