Description

The gate piers at the entrance to the stable yard are in a style typical of the 18th century, but they may date back to the mid-17th century. They are made of rusticated ashlar and feature moulded capping. The southern pier is connected to the Picture Gallery, while the northern pier is attached to the Stable Block.
