Description

The gate piers to The Stable House date from the early 18th century and are made of limestone ashlar. They feature moulded plinths and two fielded panels on the front. The piers have a moulded cornice at the top, which is stepped and adorned with pineapple finials. These piers originally served as the entrance to the stable yard of Talboys.
