Description

The boundary wall and gate piers at the front of Blagdon House date from the early 18th century. The wall is constructed of rubble stone and features a flat stone coping. The gate piers each have one fielded panel on the front and are topped with a moulded cornice and gadrooned urn finials. This structure is likely contemporary with the remodelling of the house by Edward Blagden in 1710.
