Description

The war memorial in Moreton-in-the-Marsh, dating from around 1920, features a tall octagonal sandstone shaft topped with a statue of St George and the Dragon. It has a panelled base adorned with shields and names, a high plinth, and is accessed by four wide steps. This memorial is an important feature of the High Street.
