Description

White Lion Cottage is a roadside cottage dated 1732. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. These windows are stone mullioned casements with leaded lights; one is a two-light window on the left-hand side, and the other is a three-light window. A modern part-glazed door is set within a plain, chamfered opening to the right. The roof has a steep pitch. A date inscription above the centre of the building reads “SW 1732”.
