Description

The Bell Cottage is a mid-17th century building that was altered in the mid-19th century when the Bell Inn was rebuilt. It was formerly one property with Bank View. The cottage is 2½ storeys tall, constructed from coursed and squared rubble, and features a Cotswold stone slate roof with an ashlar chimney that has a moulded capping. There is a gabled central dormer and a large modern dormer in the loft. On the first floor to the right, there is one window casement, with a 20th-century shop window below it. To the left, there is a segment-headed coach entry, which is also repeated at the rear.
