Description

The Gift Horse is a building likely dating from the mid-18th century, which underwent refenestration in the early 19th century and has seen some alterations. It is constructed of ashlar with a Cotswold stone roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows. The ground floor has modern shop windows with a plain central door that is set within an ogee surround, and there is a plain door leading to a through passage on the right. Above, there are two 16-pane sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched with stone verges and a moulded eaves cornice, and it includes a central gabled dormer and an end stack to the right.
