Description

The village pump and water trough, located approximately 10 meters southwest of Number 13A in Great Barrington, is a cast iron pump and stone trough dating from the 19th century. The pump is set in a recess in the wall, although the handle of the pump has been removed. The water trough is supplied with tapped water, and mains water was introduced to the village in 1958.
