Description

The village pump and stone trough, located at the western corner of The Green in Little Barrington Village, date from the 19th century. The pump is made of cast iron and features a handle with the inscription 'BURFORD' in raised lettering on one side. It dispenses water into a shallow square limestone trough. This structure is marked as 'post' on the 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map.
